OASF Giving Tree
The Donation Tree is located in the Ontonagon Area School Gymnasium Lobby.
Since its humble beginning in 1984 with the award of a single scholarship, the OASF has grown to provide financial assistance to all qualifying Ontonagon Area School District (OASD) graduates.
The OASF Promise is to provide “Scholarships for All!”
Since 1984, in excess of $612,500 has been awarded to 677 OASD graduates. The continual growth of the OASF could not be achieved without the generous support of its benefactors.
Donation Levels
Annual OASF donations have come from many alumni, friends, families, businesses, memorials, & civic organizations. Gifts in any amount are also accepted in memory of a loved one.
To recognize our benefactors, a Giving Tree was placed in the Ontonagon Area School Gymnasium Lobby. Any benefactor or memorial with a cumulative, lifetime donation in excess of $2,000 is named individually on the tree in accordance with their current donation level. The OASF also recognizes our many annual benefactors and has included them on a Foundation Stone Trust as “Friends of the Ontonagon Area Scholarship Foundation.”
All established Named Trusts, current year benefactors, and current year Memorials are also listed annually in the commencement folder at graduation.
